OBJECTIVE
This course provides an introduction to Yokogawa’s Advanced Alarm Manager (AAM). It provides focus on how it helps maintain & optimize alarm management system based on EEMUA No. 191 guideline and six-sigma methodology, as well as on techniques to design, implement, measure and improve the performance of alarm system, in order to guide operator to operate plant within designed safety envelope.

For operators, supervisors, instrument engineers, alarm processing system engineers and process / mechanical / maintenance engineers who are part of an alarm system team.
PREREQUISITE
Participants should know plant processes and plant operation in a DCS environment.
